   I've always liked album sides. I miss them, though I certainly don't miss turning them over! And my songs tend to categorize nicely into groups of six more or less. EP's they're usually called, but I like "album sides" or "six-packs," better. That Kind of Night is the first side, and its stylistic handle is acoustic rock -- all of these tunes move!

   That Kind of Night was put together right here at RMC Recording with the help of my family, Rita, Jeanne and Erin, and a bunch of amazing (and amazingly talented) friends; truly a blessing beyond words! It also represents my journey as I learned the rudiments of record engineering -- no little source of pride that I'm really quite happy with the results! I'm also proud to say that it's a totally home-produced product. Rita and I burned and printed the disks; stickered and stuffed the sleeves. We're pleased with those results, too! Did I mention how much I love my wife?
